 Member Directory

Members are our greatest asset.  Help build a Directory that is searchable and allows players to connect with other players.  Communities form centered around members with common interests. We have implemented message boards to share information.  Players can find others for competition and recreation.

Manage Your Profile

1.  The Directory is available only to members in good standing.

2.  You may add to or edit at any time.

3.  You may Opt-In or Opt-Out on items shared with others.

4.  Enter a valid personal email address to receive news, update your password and communicate with others.

5.  A “Profile” field is available with a rich text/html editor. You may create a bio; tell your story or promote your brand.

6.  Upload your photo.  It can be redone at any time.

7.  Indicate if you provide instruction tailored to seniors by checking any credential.

Search Tips

1.  Enter a zip code to find nearby members.
2.  Using more fields narrows the search.
3.  Use the “Clear Form” button to start over.
4.  A search can yield 20 people per page.  More page buttons appear bottom right.
5.  Click on any resulting name in blue for more info.
6.  An envelope icon on a resulting name indicates that you can email that person.
7.  A “Contact Form” in blue can be clicked to ask the person to contact you.

Message Boards

Standards

1.  Create a welcoming environment. Treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

2.  Participants agree to join, post, and represent themselves as a person, not as a proxy, entity, or business.

3.  Give more than you take from this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links are not allowed. Promoting a product or service requires approval of USSP designated leadership.

4.  Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind is not allowed. Degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

5.  Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great but may also be sensitive and require privacy.

6.  The association reserves the right to remove any entry without explanation.

Guidelines

1.  Browse topics and post a comment.

2.  Add a new topic if one is not active.

3.  Check the Opt-In box to participate and get emails related to the topic.

4.  Check the Daily Digest box to get a summary in your email inbox.

5.  Send an email to members that have Opt-In.

6.  Don’t send an email but add to the message list.
